Corn cake
Source: Adaptation of Cornbread from Professional Baking
Ingredients
Dry ingredients
- 175 g flour
- 175 g cornmeal
- 190 g sugar
- 18 g baking powder
- 26 g powdered milk (or use liquid milk instead of water)
- 2 g salt
Liquid ingredients
- 3 eggs (140 g)
- 300 mL water (or milk)
- 95 g oil
Procedure
- Grease baking pan
- Mix liquid ingredients
- Mix dry ingredients with a fork, then sift them into liquid
- Mix until uniform, pour into pan, and bake at 200 deg. C for around 30 mins.
