Chicken Cream Stew
Ingredients
- 1 med onion, diced
- garlic, minced
- 300 g boneless chicken in cubes
- 1 L milk
- bay leaves
- 2 med potatoes in med chunks
- 1 lg carrot in med chunks
- broccoli
- 30 g flour
- 1 tbsp butter (optional)
Procedure
- Saute onion for 3 mins. Add garlic, saute another 2 mins.
- Saute chicken. If frozen, skip this step.
- Add milk. When boiling lower heat. Cook chicken for 10 mins.
- Add potatoes and carrots. Cook for 12 mins.
- Add broccoli. Cook for about 2 mins.
- Make a slurry with the flour, then add to stew.
- Cook until broccoli is at desired tenderness.
- Add butter (optional)
