Ingredients

Procedure

  1. Toast almonds on a frying pan, then chop them roughly
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt
  3. Cream the sugar and butter
  4. Beat in the eggs, one at a time
  5. Add the flour and mix until just blended
  6. Stir in filling
  7. Form two 40 cm x 6 cm logs and bake at 180 deg. C for 23 mins
  8. Cool for 30 mins
  9. Cut logs into 1-1/2 cm slices
  10. Place slices face down, bake for 6 mins, flip them, and bake for another 6 mins
